A digital recorder for meetings, discussions or lectures with up to 34 hours recording in MP3 stereo mode. It may help those with specific learning difficulties including dyslexia and anyone who would benefit from audio notes and reminders. This is not the best recorder for anyone who has dexterity or visual difficulties.
The device copes with 96kHz/24-bit Linear PCM and MP3 recordings and plays back MP3/WMA/AAC. It has omni-directional microphones (3) and jacks for headphones and an external microphone. The device works well with Dragon Naturally Speaking speech recognition and has organiser software available.
Built-in maximum recording memory time of 636 hours with over 12 hours of recording time before the built in battery needs recharging depending on the quality of the recording. The device has a "M2"/ microSD card slot and is capable of holding 400 folders with max. 199 files per folder. It is possible to mark places in recordings, delete and recorder over files. There is a calendar feature, backlit LCD screen and USB connection for charging.
